Pipelines
Edit pipeline
Pipeline name
Shown as the tab label on the kanban dashboard.
Active
Inactive pipelines are hidden from the kanban tabs but their
existing jobs are preserved. Toggle off when you're winding a
pipeline down without losing history.
Stages
Each stage becomes a column on the kanban. Drag to reorder, click
to rename. Jobs flow left-to-right by default. The "Status border"
checkbox controls whether cards in that stage show the colored
order-status border (Material ordered/in/etc.).
Work types
A colored chip shown at the top of every job card so anyone
glancing at the board knows whether it's a re-roof, siding job,
new construction, etc. Drag to reorder, click the swatch to
change the color. The yutzybid auto-import uses these IDs
(siding-estimates → siding, jobType=newbuild → new-construction,
everything else → re-roof) — renaming is fine, deleting one of
the seeded IDs will break that import path until re-created.
Profiles
A second colored chip on each card showing the metal panel
profile. The IDs (shown to the right of each row) are tied to
yutzybid's
panelProfile / roofType
values — renaming labels and recoloring is safe,
but changing or deleting an ID hides the chip on every job
that already references it. Drag to reorder, click a swatch
to recolor. New custom profiles get a generated ID.
Order statuses
Color-coded status for every job card — controls the full card
background on the kanban and the legend at the top of the
board. Drag to reorder, click the swatch to recolor, edit the
label inline. The ID (shown on the right) is locked once
created because every job that's been tagged with that status
references it — renaming the label is fine, changing the ID
would orphan those jobs. Field crew see the colors but only
admins can change a job's status (via job-detail).
Card fields
What appears on each job card under the work-type chip. Mark a
field as "Admin only" if it should be hidden from field crew
(e.g. job value). Customer, City/State, Squares, Pitch, Profile
are good defaults; Value is admin-only by default.
Danger zone
Deleting a pipeline is blocked if jobs still live in it. Move or
delete the jobs first, then come back here.
